Mostly, we tend to look at people we like or have a fling or crush for and say I like this girl/guy.

Christians and even gentiles alike. He has a plan for everyone. As young people, we go through heartbreaks and a lot of people hurt us in these relationships.
Inviting God to take over your relationship isn’t so hard. You can do it.
Pray about the guy or lady you are attracted to. Ask God for guidance, wisdom and discernment. He knows everything you know; it’s better to avoid people that would in the end hurt you by praying and seeking the face of God in this aspect of your life as well. Not only when you need something.
He gave Eve specifically to Adam therefore He has someone specially made for you.
Pray to God so He gives you the right person who knows His word and knows how to love, treat and cherish you.
God loves you so He would give you the right partner if only you ask Him.
