Have Some Faith

Clouds gather
In a playful manner
Such as these
My heart speaks

In the very way
My mind hears
The strength to continue

Abides within my faith
Just have some faith
A little more time
But I say to myself
Time, I have not

Scenes when I win
Yes scenes when I win
My joy will be full

Yet still my worries
Amuse me
The unending tragedies
Make my heart skip

The torment
The pain
The years of regrets
Unfolding just before
I take a sip

A sip of relief
One that will make me sleep forever

I’m scared, yet I have to do this
I don’t want to
Then she says;

How dare you back out now
Don’t you dare!

My shadows all leave
In the time I need them
They vanish

Left to me alone
I would want to sleep forever

But then I blink my eyes
And find myself back in reality
Oh! So it was just my mind

Come to think of it
Sleeping forever would be nice
Yet still I realize
I have to live

Have some faith
Just a little faith my heart
It is well
